Primary Schools SRE Co-ordinator
Part-time, London-based (Southwark), 1 year fixed term contract
Salary: £22,581 – £25,291 pro rata (21 hours a week) depending on experience and
Our vision is that every young person is given the opportunity to develop skills in
building healthy relationships, to understand how precious they are and how
amazing their body is, and consider the importance and value of sex. We deliver
interactive and dynamic workshops about self-esteem, relationships and sexual
health in schools and other youth settings. We also provide training to youth workers,
teachers, health professionals, churches and communities.
We are a national project working locally in Southwark where we now have the opportunity to expand our work.
The post-holder for this new role will lead in developing and delivering a primary
school SRE (sex and relationships education) programme for Years 5 and 6 which will
cover topics such as self-esteem, puberty, relationships, life transitions and e-safety.
We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, who is gifted in
engaging children and has the ability, vision and passion to strengthen our existing
work as well as the initiative and creativity to develop resources for this new project.
